Car
If you are driving from the town of Gospić, head southwest on the D50 road. Continue for about 20 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the D1 road. Turn left onto D1 and drive for approximately 15 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Stara Kršlja. As you enter the village, keep an eye out for the signs directing you to the Caves of Barać, which will be on your right. There is a parking area available at the site.

Public Transportation
To reach the Caves of Barać using public transportation, take a bus from Gospić to the town of Slunj. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Slunj, you will need to transfer to a local bus heading towards Stara Kršlja. This bus ride will take about 20 minutes. After disembarking in Stara Kršlja, follow the signs to the Caves of Barać, which is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

If you are coming from the direction of Plitvička Jezera, take the D1 road heading north. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will reach the village of Rakovica. From there, turn onto the D50 road towards Stara Kršlja. Continue for about 10 kilometers until you see signs for the Caves of Barać. The entrance will be located on your left side. Parking is available on-site.
