If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to the town of Rovanjska. From any location in Lika, you will want to head towards the D1 highway. Once you reach the D1, continue towards the direction of the coastal town of Zadar. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit towards the D56 road. Follow the D56 for about 10 kilometers until you reach the town of Rovanjska. Upon entering Rovanjska, look for Put Rovanjske street, which leads directly to Modrič cave. There is parking available near the cave, but be mindful of any potential parking fees.

For those relying on public transportation, your best option is to take a bus from major towns in Lika, such as Gospić or Senj, to Zadar. Once in Zadar, you will need to catch a local bus that goes towards Rovanjska. Buses to Rovanjska may not run frequently, so check the schedule in advance. Upon arrival in Rovanjska, the Modrič cave is about a 10-15 minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs towards Put Rovanjske street, and you will find the cave at the end of the road. Keep in mind that bus tickets will incur a cost, usually ranging from 20-50 HRK depending on your starting point.
