From Gospić, drive on the D50 towards Otočac and follow signs for the D1 road. Merge onto D1 and continue until you see signs for Krasno. Turn onto the local road leading to Krasno. The Velebit caves are located just outside the town center. Ensure your GPS is set to the coordinates 44.7669444, 15.0263888 for precise directions. Parking is available near the village center.

Take a bus from major cities like Rijeka or Zadar to Gospić. From Gospić, take a local bus towards Krasno. Check the local timetable in advance as schedules may vary. From the bus station in Krasno, the Velebit caves are approximately a 1 km walk. Follow the signs towards the caves or ask locals for directions.

If you are already in Krasno, the Velebit caves can be reached on foot. From the center of Krasno, head east and follow the signs that lead to the caves. The walk is about 1 km and should take approximately 15-20 minutes. The path is well-marked and provides views of the surrounding landscape.
