If you are in the center of Makarska, head towards the waterfront promenade known as 'Riva'. Walk along the promenade until you reach the roundabout. Continue straight towards the main road, 'D8'. Cross the road and follow the signs for 'Omiš' and 'Split'. After crossing, you will walk about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the bus station on your right. Here, you can take a local bus heading towards Omiš. The bus journey will take approximately 30 minutes.

Once you arrive at the bus station, purchase a ticket to 'Slime' where Buk Omis is located. Ensure to check the bus schedule; the buses typically run every half hour. The bus will take you directly to Slime. After getting off at the bus stop in Slime, walk for about 10 minutes in the direction of the river. You will see signs for Buk Omis along the way, which is known for its rafting activities.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Makarska. Start your ride from the center of Makarska towards the coastal road leading to Omiš. Follow the same route as you would on foot or by bus. The distance is approximately 11 kilometers, and it will take about 45 minutes to an hour by bike. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Slime, where you will find Buk Omis.
