If you are in the center of Makarska, make your way to the waterfront promenade. Head southwest along the promenade towards the main harbor. Once you reach the harbor, look for the ferry terminal. From there, you can catch a ferry to Hvar. The ferry ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Hvar, disembark and head towards the main square (Trg Sv. Stjepana). From the square, continue walking along Šetalište put Križa, which is a scenic coastal path that leads directly to the Franciscan Monastery.
