If you are in the center of Makarska, make your way to the waterfront promenade. Head southwest along the promenade towards the main harbor. Once you reach the harbor, look for the ferry terminal. From there, you can catch a ferry to Hvar. The ferry ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Hvar, disembark and head towards the main square (Trg Sv. Stjepana). From the square, continue walking along Šetalište put Križa, which is a scenic coastal path that leads directly to the Franciscan Monastery.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Makarska. Start your journey by cycling towards the ferry terminal located on the waterfront. Once you arrive at the terminal, board the ferry to Hvar. After the ferry ride, follow the same route as walkers: head towards the main square (Trg Sv. Stjepana) and then proceed along Šetalište put Križa to reach the Franciscan Monastery.

From your accommodation in Makarska, walk to the nearest bus stop and take a local bus to the ferry terminal. Buses are frequent and will take you directly to the ferry terminal. Once at the terminal, board the ferry to Hvar. After arriving in Hvar, walk to the main square (Trg Sv. Stjepana) and continue to Šetalište put Križa, where the Franciscan Monastery is located.
