Start at the Makarska waterfront promenade (Riva) and head west along the coast. Enjoy the scenic views as you walk. Follow the promenade until you reach the end where you will see the harbor. From the harbor, take a ferry to Hvar. The ferry terminal is located near the center of Makarska, and you will see signs directing you to the ticket booths. Once you have your ticket, board the ferry and enjoy the ride which lasts about 1 hour. Upon arrival at Hvar, you will disembark at the main port. From the port, walk along Obala Riva for about 10 minutes, and you will arrive at Hvar Arsenal, located at Obala, Riva 1.
Public Transport
From your location in Makarska, take a local bus to the ferry terminal. Buses to the ferry terminal are frequent and can typically be caught from various central points in Makarska, like the main bus station. Once you arrive at the ferry terminal, purchase your ticket for the ferry to Hvar. After boarding, enjoy the scenic journey, which takes approximately 1 hour. Once you reach Hvar, exit the ferry and walk straight along Obala Riva for about 10 minutes until you reach Hvar Arsenal at Obala, Riva 1.
