Walking
Start from the center of Makarska, at the main square (Trg fra Andrije Kačića Miošića). Head southwest towards the waterfront promenade (Obala kralja Tomislava). Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the end, where you will see the marina. From there, follow the signs to the local bus station (Autobusni kolodvor). Take a local bus heading towards Brela or Baška Voda, which will take you along the coast. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at the stop for 'Dubci'. From the bus stop, walk uphill towards the beach area of Vruja, following the signs. It's about a 15-minute walk uphill to reach the beach.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, rent one from a local shop in Makarska. Start at the main square (Trg fra Andrije Kačića Miošića) and cycle towards the waterfront promenade (Obala kralja Tomislava). Continue cycling along the coast towards Brela. Follow the main road (D8) until you reach the sign for 'Dubci'. There will be a steep climb, so be prepared for a workout.
