From the center of Makarska, start at the main square (Trg Frankopana). Head southeast towards the waterfront promenade (Riva). Walk along the promenade until you reach the bus station (Autobusni Kolodvor). From the bus station, you can take a bus to Imotski. Once you arrive at Imotski, walk towards Hercegovačka ulica. The Red Lake is approximately a 15-minute walk straight down this road. Follow the signs for Red Lake, and you will see it on your left.

Begin at the bus station in Makarska (Autobusni Kolodvor). Purchase a ticket for a local bus heading to Imotski. The bus ride usually takes about 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival at Imotski, exit the bus station and head towards Hercegovačka ulica. Walk straight for about 15 minutes, and you will reach Red Lake, which will be on your left side.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Makarska. Start from the center of Makarska and head towards the bus station (Autobusni Kolodvor). From there, take the road towards Imotski. The route is approximately 25km and will take about 1.5 hours of cycling. Follow the road signs to Imotski, and once you arrive, navigate to Hercegovačka ulica for the Red Lake.
