Walking
From the Makarska waterfront, head east along the coast towards the main bus station. Continue walking along the coast until you reach the ferry terminal. From there, take a ferry to Korčula Island. Once you arrive at the Korčula ferry terminal, exit and follow the signs towards Korčula Old Town. It's about a 15-minute walk from the terminal to Saint Mark's Cathedral, located in the center of the Old Town.
Public Transport
Start at the main bus station in Makarska. Take a bus to Orebić, which is the closest mainland point to Korčula Island. The bus ride will take around 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Orebić, walk to the ferry terminal and take a ferry to Korčula Town. After disembarking, follow the signs to Korčula Old Town, where Saint Mark's Cathedral is located. It will take approximately 15 minutes to walk to the cathedral from the ferry terminal.
