Walking
Start from the city center of Makarska, specifically the main square (Trg Frankopana). Head south towards the coast and follow the promenade along the beach. Continue walking until you reach the end of the promenade, where you'll find the main road (D8). Cross the road carefully. Once on the other side, keep walking straight until you see the signs for Bus Station (Autobusni Kolodvor) on your left. Follow the signs to the bus station.
Bus
From the Bus Station in Makarska, take the bus heading towards Nerežišća. Buses are frequent, but check the schedule for exact times. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Nerežišća, disembark at the D114 stop. After getting off the bus, walk a short distance towards the direction of the bus travel. Uvala Smrka will be nearby, and you can follow the signs or ask locals for directions if needed.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Makarska. Once you have your bike, head towards the coast and follow the same route as if you were walking towards the Bus Station. After reaching the D8 road, head towards Nerežišća. The ride will be a bit longer, but the scenic views make it worthwhile. Keep an eye out for the D114 road sign as you approach your destination.
