If you are in the center of Makarska, start at the main square, Trg Frankopana. From there, head south towards the waterfront promenade, Obala kralja Tomislava. Walk along the promenade until you reach the bus station. From the bus station, take a bus to Hvar. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Hvar bus station, walk towards the center of Hvar town. Follow the signs towards 'Trg Sv. Stjepana' (St. Stephen's Square). The cathedral is located directly on the square, which should take you around 10 minutes on foot.
