If you are starting from the Makarska Riva (the waterfront promenade), head east along the promenade. Continue walking until you reach the end of the promenade where you will find a small park area. From here, head up the hill via the pathway that leads towards the hilltop. Follow the signs that indicate the direction towards Spomenik Sv. Petra. The statue is located on a small hill overlooking the sea, so you will need to ascend a few steps. The entire walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes.

Makarska's public transportation primarily revolves around its bus system. From the Makarska bus station, which is less than 1 km away from the seafront, you can take a local bus towards the city center. Get off near the main square and walk towards the waterfront promenade. Then follow the promenade eastward until you reach the peninsula of St. Peter. Walk up the hill to reach the statue. A single bus fare within Makarska costs approximately €1 - €2. Keep in mind that buses can be crowded during peak tourist season.
