If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Zagreb and head towards Medvednica Mountain. Take the D1 road and follow the signs for Medvednica. Once you reach the Medvednica Nature Park entrance, you can park your car at designated parking areas nearby. From the parking lot, take the marked hiking trails that lead towards Podcintarnica cave. The cave is located approximately 2 kilometers from the parking area, and the trail is well-marked. Ensure you have appropriate footwear as the path can be uneven.

Public Transportation
To reach Podcintarnica cave via public transportation, you can take Tram Line 14 from the center of Zagreb towards the station 'Črnomerec'. Once you arrive at Črnomerec, transfer to Bus Line 140 or 141 that goes to the Medvednica Mountain area. Get off at the 'Medvednica' stop. From there, follow the marked hiking trails towards Podcintarnica cave, which is approximately a 2-kilometer walk. Be aware that the trails can be steep and rocky, so wear comfortable walking shoes.

If you are already in the vicinity of Medvednica Mountain, you can access the cave through various hiking trails. The most common approach is to start from the Medvedgrad Castle area. Follow the signs for the hiking trail towards the cave, which is around 2 kilometers away. The trail is scenic, surrounded by nature, and may take around 30 to 45 minutes to reach the cave. Ensure that you are equipped with water and snacks, as well as a map of the hiking trails.
