If you are driving, start from the city of Zagreb. Take the D1 road towards Medvednica Mountain. Follow the signs for 'Malo Sljeme.' Once you reach the entrance to Medvednica Nature Park, continue on the main road until you reach the Zrinski Coalmine, which is located at the coordinates 45.8867924, 15.9281642. There is parking available near the coalmine, but be aware that it may have a small fee.

To reach Zrinski Coalmine via public transport, take tram number 14 from the center of Zagreb to the last stop, 'Mali Plavac.' From there, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach the coalmine. Follow the path uphill through the forest, and keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Zrinski Coalmine. The walk should take around 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the tram stop directly to the coalmine for a more convenient option.
