Car
If you are driving from Zagreb, take the A1 highway towards Split. After approximately 50 km, take exit 5 for A11 towards Velika Gorica. Continue on the A11 for about 15 km, then merge onto D30 towards Jastrebarsko. Follow D30 for around 20 km until you reach the town of Rastoke. Once in Rastoke, follow the signs for Slap Hrvoje, which is located near the picturesque watermills. Parking is available in the area, but please note that there may be a small fee depending on the parking zone.
Public Transportation
To reach Slap Hrvoje via public transport, take a bus from Zagreb to Slunj, which operates several times a day. The bus ride takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Slunj, you can take a local taxi or walk (approximately 30 minutes) to Rastoke. As you walk, follow the signs towards the waterfalls; it’s a scenic route. When you arrive in Rastoke, look for the signs directing you to Slap Hrvoje.
Walking
If you are already in Rastoke or nearby, you can reach Slap Hrvoje by walking. Start at the Rastoke watermills and follow the path along the river. The walk takes about 10-15 minutes and is a beautiful experience, as you will be surrounded by nature and the sounds of cascading waterfalls. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path can be uneven in some areas.
