From the center of Opatija, head towards the main promenade known as Lungomare. Walk along the promenade until you reach the end of the beach area, which is about a 15-20 minute walk. Continue straight until you reach the bus stop at the intersection of Ulica Maršala Tita and Ulica K. H. Šandora. Here, you can catch a bus heading to Rijeka. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next departure.

Once in Rijeka, walk towards the Korzo, the main pedestrian street. Continue walking straight along Korzo until you reach the Trg Rijeka (Rijeka Square). From there, find Grivica ulica, which is a short walk away. Follow Grivica ulica for about 5 minutes, and you will find the Cathedral of St. Vitus located at Grivica ul. 11, 51000 Rijeka.
