Walking
Starting from the center of Opatija, head to the main promenade known as Lungomare. Walk along the promenade towards the direction of the Hotel Ambasador. Continue past the hotel until you reach the intersection with Ulica Maršala Tita. Here, turn right onto Ulica Maršala Tita and continue straight until you reach the bus stop at the end of the street. From there, you can take a local bus towards Rijeka. Once you arrive in Rijeka, exit at the Trsat bus stop. From the bus stop, follow the signs to Trsat, which will lead you up the hill. The Petar Kružić Stairway is located at the top of the hill, just follow the path that leads to it.

From Opatija, make your way to the nearest bus station. Take a bus towards Rijeka, which runs frequently throughout the day. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Get off at the Trsat stop. After exiting the bus, follow the signs to Trsat Castle, which is located nearby. The Petar Kružić Stairway is adjacent to the castle. You will see the stairway leading down from the castle area.
