Walking
From the center of Opatija, head towards the main promenade, Lungomare. Walk along the promenade towards the direction of the Hotel Kvarner. Continue walking along the coastline for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the ferry terminal. From the ferry terminal, take a ferry to the town of Krk. Once you arrive in Krk, exit the ferry terminal and follow the signs to the Franciscan Monastery of the Annunciation, which is located a short distance from the harbor.

From Opatija, locate the main bus station which is situated near the center of town. Take the bus to Krk; buses run regularly throughout the day. Once you arrive in Krk, you will need to walk towards the town center. The Franciscan Monastery of the Annunciation is a short walk from the bus station, just follow the signs or ask locals for directions. It should take you about 10-15 minutes to reach the monastery from the bus stop.
