Getting There

• Bus

  To get to Poreč from Pula, head to the main bus station located at Trg kralja Tomislava, which is centrally located in Pula. Once at the bus station, purchase your ticket to Poreč at the ticket counter or from an automatic machine. Buses to Poreč run regularly, so check the schedule for the next departure. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride, which takes about 1.5 hours. The bus will drop you off at the Poreč bus station, which is conveniently located near the city center.

• Train and Bus

  Start by walking to the Pula train station, located at Ulica Giardini 1. From there, take a train towards the city of Kanfanar. This train journey will take about an hour. Upon arriving at Kanfanar station, you will need to catch a local bus to Poreč. The bus stop is just outside the train station. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time. The bus ride from Kanfanar to Poreč takes approximately 20 minutes, and you'll arrive close to the city center.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct option, you can take a taxi from Pula to Poreč. You can find taxis at various points in the city, especially near hotels or the main square. The taxi ride will take about 50 minutes, depending on traffic. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. This is a convenient option if you're traveling with luggage or prefer not to navigate public transportation.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, consider cycling to Poreč. Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Pula, which are commonly found near the waterfront. Follow the bike path that leads out of Pula towards the coast. The ride to Poreč takes about 2-3 hours, depending on your pace. The route is mostly flat and offers beautiful views of the Adriatic Sea. Make sure to bring plenty of water and sunscreen for the trip!
