Getting There

  • Bus

    From Pula, head to the main bus station located at Trg kralja Tomislava. Purchase a ticket for the bus to Motovun. Buses typically run a few times a day, so check the schedule in advance. The journey will take about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Motovun, walk towards the town center. Follow signs for Kaldir, and after about a 15-minute walk, you will reach Vina Bertoša at Kaldir 20.

  • Bicycle

    If you feel adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Pula. Head towards the Parenzana cycling path that connects Pula to Motovun. The ride is approximately 22 km and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow the signs for Motovun along the path. Once you arrive in Motovun, navigate towards Kaldir 20, which is located approximately a 10-minute ride from the center of town.

  • Walking

    Although it's quite a distance, if you are up for a long walk, you can trek from Pula to Motovun. The distance is about 30 km, which will take approximately 6 to 7 hours. Start from the center of Pula and head towards the main road leading north. Once you reach the outskirts of the town, continue following the signs to Motovun. Upon reaching Motovun, ask locals for directions to Kaldir 20, where Vina Bertoša is located.
