    From Rovinj's city center, head southwest on Cesta za Škarabu. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the park entrance on your right. The walk is approximately 15 minutes from the Old Town.

    Punta Corrente Park, or Golden Cape (Zlatni Rt), is one of Rovinj's most significant natural attractions, stretching along the coastline and offering stunning views of the Adriatic Sea. This expansive park spans over 52 hectares and is known for its rich Mediterranean vegetation and diverse wildlife.At the end of the 19th century, Georg Hütterott, recognizing the area's potential, bought four Rovinj islands and began landscaping the Golden Cape to create a spa and climatic health resort. Although his project was interrupted by his death, his vision contributed to the area's tourism development. The park's uniqueness was officially recognized in 1961 when it was declared a nature park.Visitors can explore well-marked trails perfect for walking, cycling, and running. The park is home to various plant species, including Himalayan cedars, cypresses, and pines, as well as diverse wildlife, making it ideal for birdwatching and photography. The coastline features rocky beaches and secluded coves perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports.
