Getting There

• Walking

  From the main square in Rovinj, head east towards the waterfront. Walk along the promenade until you reach the end, where you will see the beautiful blue waters of the Adriatic Sea. Continue walking along the coast, following the signs that indicate 'Poreč'. After approximately 10 minutes, you'll reach the bus station in Rovinj. Take note of the bus schedule as buses to Poreč run regularly throughout the day. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Poreč, exit the bus and walk towards the old town. Follow the signs leading to the Euphrasian Basilica, which is located at Eufrazijeva ul. 22. It will take approximately 10 minutes to walk there from the bus station.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Rovinj. Begin your ride by heading towards the waterfront and following the coastal path towards Poreč. This scenic route will take you through beautiful landscapes and alongside the sea. The distance is about 30 km, so plan for about 1.5 to 2 hours of cycling. Once you reach Poreč, park your bicycle at one of the designated bike racks near the old town. From there, walk towards Eufrazijeva ul. 22, where the Euphrasian Basilica is located. It’s a short walk of around 10 minutes.

  To visit the Euphrasian Basilica, you can take a bus from Rovinj to Poreč. Head to the bus station in Rovinj and take a bus heading to Poreč. The journey lasts approximately 30-40 minutes. After arriving in Poreč, exit the bus and head towards the city center. Follow the signs to the Euphrasian Basilica, which is located at Eufrazijeva ul. 22. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the bus station.
