Travel Guide to Kloštar Beach

Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Rovinj, head towards the waterfront promenade, known as 'Obala Pina Budicina.' Walk along the promenade until you reach the end at the marina. Continue straight on the same road, which will turn into 'Ulica Montalbano.' Follow this road as it curves and leads you out of the town. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach a fork in the road. Keep to the left and follow the signs towards Kloštar. The beach is located approximately 1 kilometer further down this road. Look for signs indicating 'Kloštar Beach' as you approach the area.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Rovinj. Once you have your bike, follow the same route as if you were walking: start from the waterfront promenade and cycle along 'Obala Pina Budicina.' Continue on 'Ulica Montalbano' until you reach the fork in the road. Take the left path towards Kloštar. The ride is approximately 2.5 kilometers and should take around 15-20 minutes. Make sure to keep an eye out for any signage that will guide you towards Kloštar Beach.

• Public Transport

  While there is no direct public transport to Kloštar Beach from Rovinj, you can take a bus towards the nearby village of Bale. From the main bus station in Rovinj, board the bus heading to Bale. When you arrive in Bale, you can either walk (approximately 2 kilometers) or rent a bike to get to Kloštar Beach. Head north from the bus stop in Bale and follow the signs leading to Kloštar. This option may take longer due to the bus schedule, so check the timetable in advance.
