Getting There

Walking
Start at the main square in Rovinj, Trg Marsala Tita. Head east towards the waterfront promenade (Obala Pina Budicina). Walk along the promenade until you reach the bus station located at the end. From there, take a local bus to Pula. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Pula, get off at the main bus station. From the bus station, head southeast on Ulica Mornara towards Ulica Kardinala Alojzija Stepinca. Turn left onto Ulica Kardinala Alojzija Stepinca, then turn right onto Ulica Rade Končara. Continue onto Ulica Flavijevska, and then take a left onto Gradinski uspon. The Pula Citadel will be on your right at Gradinski uspon 10.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Rovinj and head south on Ulica Riva towards the coast. Continue along the coast road until you reach the bike path that leads to Pula. The ride is scenic and will take approximately 1 hour. Once in Pula, follow the signs to the city center. When you reach the center, navigate to Ulica Flavijevska and then head toward Gradinski uspon. Pula Citadel is located at Gradinski uspon 10.
