After approximately 10 km, take the exit for Sljeme. Continue on the winding road until you reach the parking area near the Monument of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. There may be a parking fee, so be prepared with some Croatian Kuna.

To use public transportation, take tram line 14 from central Zagreb to the last stop, which is the 'Bamberg' station. From there, transfer to bus line 140 towards 'Sljeme'. The bus will take you to a stop near the base of the mountain. After getting off, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 km uphill to reach the monument. This walk can be steep, so wear comfortable shoes. Bus tickets can be purchased from kiosks or on the bus, and you should expect to pay around 10 Kuna for a one-way ticket.
