Walking
If you are in the vicinity of the Zagreb Cathedral or the Lotrščak Tower, head southeast towards Tomićeva Street. Walk down Tomićeva, which will lead you past several charming cafes and shops. Continue until you reach the intersection with Radićeva Street. Turn left onto Radićeva and follow it until you reach the main square, Trg bana Jelačića. From there, head southwest towards Ilica Street. Once you reach Ilica, turn right and walk until you see the entrance to the Upper Town (Gornji Grad) on your left, leading you to the iconic Stone Gate. From the Stone Gate, follow the signs towards Zakmardi Steps, which will be a short walk away, just past the church of St. Catherine.

For those wishing to use public transport, you can take a tram from Trg bana Jelačića. Board tram number 6 or 11 heading towards the direction of the Upper Town (Gornji Grad). Get off at the 'Kaptol' stop. From there, walk up Kaptol street until you reach the Zagreb Cathedral.
