Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Riva (the waterfront promenade), walk towards the eastern end of the promenade until you reach the main street, Marmontova ulica. Turn left onto Marmontova and continue until you reach the intersection with Domovinskog rata. Here, turn right and follow this street until you reach the entrance to the Marjan Forest Park. You will see signs pointing towards the park. Once you are at the entrance, follow the paths that will lead you to the southern part of the park.

  • Public Transport

    From the main bus station (Autobusni kolodvor) in Split, you can take bus number 12 towards the Marjan area. Board the bus and get off at the 'Marjan' stop. From there, walk towards the park entrance which is located at Šetalište Ivana Meštrovića. Follow the signs leading into the park for access to the southern trails.

    From the Palace of Diocletian, exit through the Silver Gate. Continue straight along the street until you reach the waterfront.
