If you are starting from the Riva Promenade, head east along the waterfront promenade, enjoying the beautiful views of the Adriatic Sea. Continue walking until you reach the main square, Narodni trg (People's Square). From Narodni trg, walk northeast towards the statue of Marko Marulić, and then follow the signs leading you to Trg Republike (Plaza de la República). This plaza is located just a few minutes away from Narodni trg, and you will be able to spot it easily as you approach.

If you are starting from the Diocletian's Palace, exit the palace through the Iron Gate (Željezna vrata). Once you are outside, turn left and walk towards the Riva Promenade. Follow the promenade east until you reach the Narodni trg. From there, continue walking northeast to reach Trg Republike (Plaza de la República). It's about a 10-minute walk from the palace.
