Walking
If you are in the heart of Split, make your way to the Riva waterfront promenade, which is a popular starting point for tourists. From the Riva, head towards the ferry terminal. Follow the promenade along the waterfront until you reach the Split ferry terminal. Once you arrive at the terminal, look for the ferry service to Hvar. After purchasing your ferry ticket, board the ferry which typically departs from the terminal every hour. Enjoy the scenic boat ride to Hvar, which takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Hvar, disembark and walk towards the Riva, where the address '7, Riva' is located. The Harbour of Hvar is directly on the waterfront.
Public Transport
To reach the Harbour of Hvar from Split using public transport, start at the main bus station located near the ferry terminal in Split. Buy a ticket for the ferry to Hvar, as there are no direct buses to the island. The ferry ride will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Upon arrival at Hvar, exit the ferry terminal and walk towards the waterfront. The Harbour of Hvar is located at '7, Riva', just a short walk from the terminal. Follow the signs pointing to the Riva, and you will find the harbour easily.
Taxi Boat
For a more direct and quicker option, consider taking a taxi boat from Split to Hvar. You can find taxi boat services at the Split waterfront. Approach one of the taxi boat operators and confirm the price and destination of Hvar. The journey will typically take around 30 to 40 minutes, depending on sea conditions. Ask the boat operator to drop you off at the Riva in Hvar. Once you arrive, you will be right at the Harbour of Hvar, located at '7, Riva'.
