Getting There

• Bus

  From Split, head to the main bus station located at Obala kneza Domagoja 12. Purchase a ticket to Brela, which is approximately a 1-hour journey. Once you arrive in Brela, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, walk towards the coast, and you will find signs directing you to Plaža Publicjna Punta Rata. It is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop to the beach.

• Ferry and Bus

  Take a ferry from Split to Makarska, which offers beautiful views of the coastline. Once you arrive in Makarska, head to the bus station located near the ferry port. Catch a local bus heading to Brela. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Get off at the main bus stop in Brela and follow the coastal road towards the beach, which will take you about 15 minutes on foot.

• Walking

  If you are feeling adventurous and enjoy walking, you can hike from Split to Brela. It is a long journey, approximately 10-12 kilometers along the coastal path, which takes you through beautiful scenery. Start at the Riva promenade in Split, head towards the coastal path, and follow the direction to Brela. This will take several hours, so ensure you have enough water and snacks.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  For a more direct and comfortable option, consider taking a taxi or a rideshare service from Split to Plaža Publicjna Punta Rata. Simply tell the driver your destination, and they will take you to the beach. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.
