If you are starting from the Riva promenade, head east along the waterfront until you reach the large square called Peristil. From Peristil, walk directly towards the Cathedral of Saint Domnius, which is adjacent to the Peristil. Once you are facing the Cathedral, turn left and walk about 50 meters until you see a large archway; this is the Golden Gate.

From the Split Bus Station, exit the building and head towards the Riva waterfront. Walk along the waterfront heading east until you reach the Peristil square. From there, follow the directions to the Cathedral of Saint Domnius, and turn left to find the Golden Gate just past the Cathedral.
