Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Riva (the waterfront promenade), head east towards the old town. As you walk, you will see the beautiful views of the harbor. Continue straight until you reach the main square, which is called Narodni Trg (People's Square). The square is located directly adjacent to the vibrant local shops and cafes.

    From Diocletian's Palace, exit through the Silver Gate. Once outside, turn left and head towards the main street, which will lead you directly to the People's Square. You will pass several picturesque streets lined with shops and eateries along the way.

    If you are near the Split Archaeological Museum, exit the museum and head south towards the old town. Continue walking straight until you see the large stone walls of Diocletian's Palace. From there, turn left and follow the street which leads directly to People's Square.

    If you find yourself at the Split Bus Station, take bus number 1, 3, or 5 towards the city center. Get off at the stop named 'Poljude', and then it’s a short walk to the People's Square. Follow the signs towards the old town, and you will arrive at the square in about 10 minutes.

    From the main train station in Split, exit and walk straight towards the Riva waterfront. Once you reach the waterfront, turn left and continue walking along the promenade. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the People's Square, located just a short distance from the waterfront.
