Getting There

    From your location in Meje, head towards the coast. Walk along the waterfront promenade (Riva) towards the center of Split. This should take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you reach the bustling city center, continue straight until you reach the Diocletian's Palace area. The Iron Gate is located just south of the Palace, at Ul. Ispod ure. You’ll recognize it by the large archway that leads into the historic structure.

    You can also take a local bus to reach the Iron Gate. Find the nearest bus stop in Meje, which is likely along the main road. Look for bus lines that head towards the city center (such as lines 1 or 12). The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Poljana' or 'Trg Republike' which is close to the entrance of Diocletian's Palace. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the Iron Gate. Please note that a single bus ticket costs around 11 HRK (Croatian Kuna), and you can purchase tickets at kiosks or on the bus.
