If you are near the Trogir waterfront, start walking towards the old town. Head east along the waterfront promenade (Obala bana Berislavića) until you reach the main square (Trg Trogira). From the square, walk towards the city gate (Gradska vrata) which is hard to miss. The Sjeverna gradska vrata (Northern City Gate) is located just inside the gate on Ul. Gradska vrata, about a 5-minute walk from the square.

If you are at the Trogir Market (Tržnica Trogir), exit the market and head east towards the old town. Continue straight on Ul. Kralja Tomislava until you reach the main square (Trg Trogira). Turn left onto Ul. Gradska vrata and walk for about 2 minutes; the Sjeverna gradska vrata will be on your right.

From the Trogir Cathedral (Katedrala sv. Lovre), exit the cathedral and face the main square (Trg Trogira). Walk towards the city gate (Gradska vrata) located to the northwest of the square. Once you pass through the gate, continue on Ul. Gradska vrata for about 2 minutes, and you will find the Sjeverna gradska vrata on your left.

If you're at the Trogir Bus Station, head northeast toward the city center. Follow the signs or local paths that lead you to Ul. Kralja Tomislava. From there, proceed towards the main square (Trg Trogira). After reaching the square, walk towards Gradska vrata (the city gate), and once you pass through, Sjeverna gradska vrata will be on your right in a short walk.
