Ferry

To reach Sakarun Beach on Dugi Otok, start from the center of Zadar and make your way to the Zadar Ferry Port. You can walk there by heading towards the waterfront along Ulica Obala kralja Petra Krešimira IV. Once you reach the port, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Brbinj on Dugi Otok. The ferry ride takes about 1 hour and operates several times a day. After arriving at Brbinj, you'll need to take a local bus or taxi to reach Sakarun Beach, which is approximately a 30-minute drive from the ferry terminal. Make sure to check the ferry schedule in advance to plan your trip.

If you prefer to use public transportation after arriving at Brbinj, you can catch a local bus to Sakarun Beach. Check the local bus timetable at the Brbinj ferry terminal. The bus service may run less frequently, so ensure you have the latest schedule. The bus journey will take around 30 minutes to reach the beach.
