Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Zadar city center, head towards the main square, Narodni trg. From there, exit the square onto Ulica Špire Brusine. Continue straight until you reach Zadar's famous Greeting to the Sun installation, which is a short walk away. Once you reach the waterfront, turn left and walk along the promenade (Obala kralja Tomislava) until you see the Church of St. Donatus on your right. Continue walking straight until you reach Trg Petra Zoranića, where the Roman pillar is located. It should be easily visible in this square.

  • Public Transport

    If you are at the Zadar bus station, you can take bus line 2 towards 'Zadar - Liburnijska obala'. Get off at the 'Konzum' stop, which is the closest to the city center. From there, follow the signs to the city center, heading towards the Narodni trg. Once at the square, proceed to Ulica Špire Brusine, and continue as described in the walking guidance to reach Trg Petra Zoranića and the Roman pillar.
