From Zadar city center, take Liburnija bus lines 2 or 4 to Gaženica. A single bus ticket costs around 1.50 EUR. The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Alternatively, a taxi from the city center to Gaženica costs approximately 15-20 EUR. Ferry ticket prices vary depending on the destination and season. Most boat tours depart from the Zadar Old Town port. From anywhere in the Old Town, the port is easily accessible on foot. Boat tour prices vary depending on the itinerary and included amenities. Half-day tours typically cost between 40-60 EUR per person, while full-day tours can range from 70-100 EUR per person. Consider booking in advance, especially during the peak season, as tours can fill up quickly.
Car
If you have a car, you can drive to Gaženica ferry port to board a car ferry to islands like Ugljan or Dugi Otok. Parking in Zadar can be challenging, especially during the summer months. There are several paid parking zones in the city, with prices ranging from 0.27 EUR to 1.59 EUR per hour, depending on the zone and season. The nearest parking garage to the Old Town is located at 112. brigade, about a 10-minute walk from the peninsula. Hourly rates range from 1 EUR during the off-season to 1.59 EUR during the summer. Alternatively, you can find free parking further away from the city center, but it may require a longer walk.
