If you are driving from central Zagorje, take the D1 road heading towards Podgora. Look for signs directing you to Cesargrad, which is situated on a hill near the village. There is parking available near the site, but it may be limited during peak tourist seasons.

Start by taking a bus from the nearest bus station in Zagorje to the Podgora bus stop. You can check the local bus schedules, but buses typically run every hour. The journey will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Podgora bus stop, you can either walk toward Cesargrad, which is about a 20-minute uphill walk, or if you're unable to walk, consider arranging for a taxi at the bus stop. Taxi fares to the ruins can range from 50 to 100 HRK depending on the time of day and demand.

If you prefer to walk from Podgora after arriving by bus or car, take the main road leading uphill from the village. Follow the signs for Cesargrad.
