If you are in the city center, start at Ban Jelačić Square, the main square in Zagreb. From the square, head southeast towards Ilica Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Antuna G. Matoša Street. Turn left onto Antuna G. Matoša Street and walk for about 300 meters. The Croatian History Museum will be on your left at Ul. Antuna G. Matoša 9.

From Ban Jelačić Square, you can take tram line 6 or 11. Board the tram and travel towards the Sava River. Get off at the 'Zrinjevac' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk towards the park and head east until you reach the main road, then turn left onto Antuna G. Matoša Street. Continue walking straight for about 200 meters, and you will find the Croatian History Museum on your right at Ul. Antuna G. Matoša 9.

If you are farther from the center, take bus number 201 from any bus stop that services it. Get off at the 'Mali Rojc' stop. Once you exit the bus, walk north towards Antuna G. Matoša Street, which is about a 10-minute walk. Turn right onto Antuna G. Matoša Street and continue walking for about 600 meters until you see the Croatian History Museum on your left at Ul. Antuna G. Matoša 9.
