Walking
If you are starting from Ban Jelačić Square, head north towards Ilica Street. Continue straight on Ilica until you reach the intersection with Tkalčićeva Street. Turn right onto Tkalčićeva and follow it until you reach the end, where it intersects with Kaptol. From there, continue to the left onto Kaptol, which will lead you up the hill towards Gornji Grad. Once you reach the top, turn left onto Strossmayerovo šetalište. You will find the beautiful promenade ahead, offering stunning views of the city.

From Ban Jelačić Square, take tram line 6 or 11 from the tram stop located at the square. Ride for a few stops and get off at the 'Zrinjevac' stop. From there, walk north through Zrinjevac Park until you reach the end of the park. Turn left onto Pavla Hatza Street and follow it until you reach the entrance of Gornji Grad. Once you are in Gornji Grad, follow the signs to Strossmayerovo šetalište.
