Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are near Ban Jelačić Square, the central square of Zagreb, start by heading northeast towards Tkalčićeva Street. Walk along Tkalčićeva Street, which is lined with cafes and shops, until you reach the intersection with Ilica Street. Turn left onto Ilica Street and continue until you reach the tram stop 'Trg Bana Jelačića'. From there, find tram line 6 or 11 heading towards 'Črnomerec' or 'Maksimir'. Get off at the next stop, 'Zrinjevac'. Walk straight through Zrinjevac Park, and exit the park at the west end. You will reach Trg Europe, a small square with beautiful architecture.

    From the central train station (Glavni kolodvor), exit the station and head to the tram stop located just in front of the station. Take tram line 6 or 11 towards 'Črnomerec' or 'Maksimir'. After two stops, get off at 'Zrinjevac'. Once you exit the tram, walk straight through Zrinjevac Park until you reach the west side. You will find Trg Europe at the end of the park, featuring lovely surroundings.

    If you are at the Croatian National Theatre, head west towards the intersection with Frankopanska Street. Turn left onto Frankopanska Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Ilica Street. Turn right onto Ilica and walk straight. After a few minutes, you will notice the entrance to Zrinjevac Park on your left. Walk through Zrinjevac Park, and exit at the west end to arrive at Trg Europe.
