Start at Ban Jelačić Square (Trg bana Josipa Jelačića), the central square of Zagreb. From the square, head northwest towards Ilica Street. Continue along Ilica until you reach the intersection with Medulićeva Street. Turn left onto Medulićeva and walk until you reach Tkalčićeva Street, a lively street filled with cafes and shops. Continue straight to the end of Tkalčićeva, where you will see the Church of St. Catherine. From here, head up the stone steps to Gradec, also known as the Upper Town. Once you reach the top, walk along the cobblestone streets until you reach Strossmayer Promenade, which is located at Strossmayerovo šetalište, overlooking the city. The promenade offers beautiful views and is a great place to relax.

Begin your journey at the nearest tram stop, which is likely at Ban Jelačić Square (Trg bana Josipa Jelačića). Take tram line 6 or 11 towards the 'Mestrovic' or 'Borongaj' directions. Get off at the 'Kaptol' stop. From here, head up the stairs towards the Zagreb Cathedral. Continue walking in the direction of the Upper Town (Gradec).
