Walking
If you are starting from Ban Jelačić Square, head southwest towards Tkalčićeva Street. Walk along Tkalčićeva until you reach the intersection with Radićeva Street. Turn right onto Radićeva and continue until you reach the intersection with Kaptol. From there, turn left onto Kaptol and walk towards the Zagreb Cathedral. Once you reach the cathedral, continue straight until you find a narrow path on your right leading to the Zakmardi Steps (Zakmardijeve stube). Follow this path, and you will soon arrive at the steps.

From the main train station (Glavni kolodvor), take tram line 6 or 9 towards Zapadni kolodvor. Get off at the stop 'Kaptol'. From there, walk towards the Zagreb Cathedral.
