Walking
If you are starting from Ban Jelačić Square, head southwest towards Tkalčićeva Street. Walk along Tkalčićeva until you reach the intersection with Radićeva Street. Turn right onto Radićeva and continue until you reach the intersection with Kaptol. From there, turn left onto Kaptol and walk towards the Zagreb Cathedral. Once you reach the cathedral, continue straight until you find a narrow path on your right leading to the Zakmardi Steps (Zakmardijeve stube). Follow this path, and you will soon arrive at the steps.
Public Transport
From the main train station (Glavni kolodvor), take tram line 6 or 9 towards Zapadni kolodvor. Get off at the stop 'Kaptol'. From there, walk towards the Zagreb Cathedral. As you approach the cathedral, look for a narrow path on your right that leads to Zakmardi Steps (Zakmardijeve stube). Follow that path, which will take you directly to the steps.
Walking
If you are near the Museum of Broken Relationships, exit the museum and head towards the main street, Ilica. Turn left and walk down Ilica until you reach the intersection with Tkalčićeva. Turn right onto Tkalčićeva and continue until you reach Radićeva Street. Turn left onto Radićeva and follow it to Kaptol. Continue towards the Zagreb Cathedral, and take the narrow path on your right leading to Zakmardi Steps (Zakmardijeve stube).
