Walking
If you are near the main entrance of Maksimir Park, head straight along the main pathway towards the Large Lake (Veliko Jezero). After about 10-15 minutes of walking, you will reach the lake. Stay on the path to the right side of the lake and continue walking. The Obelisk is located about 5 minutes further along this path, set against a backdrop of beautiful trees and greenery. You will see the tall structure as you approach, which is a prominent landmark in the park.

From the Botanical Garden located within Maksimir Park, exit the garden and turn right onto the main path. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you see the entrance to the forest area. The Obelisk is located deeper within the park, so follow the signs pointing towards the Obelisk and continue on the path for another 10 minutes. The path will lead you directly to the Obelisk, where you can enjoy the surrounding nature.
