Walking
If you are near the entrance of Maksimir Park, head straight into the park along the main walking path. Continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will pass by several large trees and green areas where you can enjoy the scenery. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards the Zoološki vrt (Zoo). As you approach the zoo, you will see the Natpis na staklu (Glass Sign) indicating the entrance to the Zoološki vrt. The sign is located just outside the zoo entrance, making it easy to find.

Public Transport
If you are coming from the city center, you can take tram line 11 or 12 to the 'Maksimir' stop. From there, walk into Maksimir Park through the main entrance. Once inside, follow the main path towards the zoo, which should take you about 15-20 minutes of walking. The tram ticket will cost around 12 HRK (Croatian Kuna) and can be purchased at the tram station or via a mobile app.
