Walking
If you are currently near the entrance of Maksimir Park (at the main entrance on Maksimirski perivoj), head straight along the main path into the park. Continue walking until you reach the first large intersection of paths. At this intersection, take the left path. Keep walking straight; you will pass by several trees and small benches. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will see the Obelisk ahead on your right. It is a tall monument surrounded by a beautiful green area.
Public Transport
If you are further away from the main entrance of Maksimir Park, you can take tram number 11 from the city center. Get on the tram at any stop along its route (for example, from Trg bana Jelačića) and exit at the 'Maksimir' stop. From there, walk approximately 15 minutes to reach the park entrance. Once inside, follow the same walking directions as mentioned above to reach the Obelisk.
