    From the city center (Trg bana Josipa Jelačića), take tram line 11 or 12 towards Dubec. Get off at the 'Maksimir Park' stop. The ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes. The park's main entrance is a short walk from the tram stop. A single tram ticket costs around 10 HRK.

  • Walking

    From the Zagreb Zoo, head towards the main walking paths within Maksimir Park. Follow the signs directing you to other areas within the park. The walk to the park's center should take approximately 10-15 minutes.

  • Car/Taxi

    Park Maksimir is located approximately 5 kilometers (3 miles) east of Zagreb's city center. If driving, there are parking lots near the main entrance. You can reach the parking lot from Donje Svetice Road. Alternatively, a taxi or ride-sharing service (Uber/Bolt) from the city center is a convenient option. A short taxi ride will cost approximately 40-60 HRK. Parking is located across from the Maksimir Park near the western side of the Dinamo soccer stadium and is in Zone 3.
