Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Samobor. Drive southeast on the D1 road towards Tomaševci. Continue on the D1 until you reach a fork. Take the left fork towards the Unnamed Road. Follow this road for about 5 km. Look for signs directing you to Pogana Jama. You will need to park your car in a designated area nearby, as the site may not have direct access for vehicles.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Zagreb to Samobor. Buses run regularly from the main bus station in Zagreb and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Once in Samobor, you can either walk or take a local taxi to reach Tomaševci. If you choose to walk, head southeast from the bus station towards the D1 road and follow the same directions as the car route. Taxis are available at the bus station and should cost approximately 100 HRK to Tomaševci.

Walking

If you are already in Tomaševci, you can reach Pogana Jama by walking. Start at the central square in Tomaševci and head towards the Unnamed Road. Follow this road for about 1.5 km, keeping an eye out for signs that indicate the direction of Pogana Jama. The walk is scenic, so enjoy the natural surroundings as you make your way to the destination.
