Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving to Sopote Waterfall, start by heading towards the village of Sošice in the Zumberak Mountains. From the village, follow the road signs leading to 'Sopote'. There is no formal parking fee, but it's advisable to arrive early as spaces can fill up quickly during peak tourist season.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transport, take a bus to the nearest town, which is called Samobor. From Samobor, you may need to catch a local bus or taxi service to reach Sošice village. Buses run regularly, but be sure to check the latest schedules as they can vary. Once in Sošice, follow the well-marked trails or paths toward the waterfall, which is approximately a 30-minute walk from the village. It's a picturesque hike through the forest, so wear comfortable shoes. There may be a small fee for the nature park entrance, typically around 5 HRK (Croatian Kuna).
