Walking
From the center of Barber, start at the intersection near the Barber Shop. Head east on the main road, known as Weg naar Barber. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Weg naar Westpunt. Turn left onto Weg naar Westpunt. Follow this road for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the bend where you see signs for Rooi Catochi. Continue straight, and you will eventually see a small pathway leading towards the Zapateer viewpoint. This is about a 30-minute walk, depending on your pace.
Public Transport
From Barber, locate the nearest bus stop which is usually near the central intersection. Take a bus heading towards Willemstad. Once you are on the bus, inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for Rooi Catochi. After disembarking, follow the road signs directing you towards Zapateer viewpoint. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Please check the local bus schedule as it may vary.
